Bayou Feedback does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Everything stays on your device.
What the app stores
Your sound and voice preferences, alert settings, chosen scene, which optional scene packs or club membership you have unlocked, and the app's Ledger — a local record of the rare moments the gauge reached red. This is saved only on your device, in the app's private storage. It never leaves your phone. We cannot see it, and neither can anyone else.
About the random numbers
The number streams shown in the app are generated entirely on your device, including the "device entropy" stream, which reads your device's built-in secure random source and timing noise. Nothing is recorded from your microphone, camera, sensors, or surroundings, and no readings of any kind are transmitted anywhere.
What the app does NOT do
- No accounts or sign-in
- No analytics or tracking
- No advertising
- No transmission of your data to us or anyone else — the app works fully offline
- No access to your contacts, location, microphone, camera, or files
Purchases
Optional scene packs and the Bayou Byte Club membership are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment details. Purchase records are kept by Google and reflected on your device so your unlocks work offline. You can manage or cancel a membership any time in the Google Play app.
Entertainment disclaimer
Bayou Feedback is an entertainment app. The mathematics and statistics it displays are real, but the app makes no claims about the meaning of any alignment, and it is not a measurement, prediction, safety, or health device of any kind.
Children
Bayou Feedback is intended for general audiences aged 18 and over and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, children included — because it collects no information at all.
Changes to this policy
If the app's privacy practices ever change, this page will be updated first and the effective date revised. Because the app collects nothing, we expect this policy to remain boring.
