App Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Bayou Byte Studio apps and games that link to this page from their store listing or settings screen. An app that works differently from what is described here has its own privacy policy instead.
Our apps do not collect, sell, or share personal data. Whatever an app remembers stays on your device.
What an app stores
Things like your settings, your progress, content you create in the app, and which optional purchases you own. This is saved only on your device, in the app's private storage. It never leaves your device unless you choose to share or export it yourself. We cannot see it.
What our apps do NOT do
- No accounts or sign-in
- No analytics or tracking
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers
- No selling or sharing of personal data, because none is collected
Permissions
An app asks for a device permission (for example the microphone, notifications, or the camera) only when a feature you use needs it, and uses it only for that feature. What it captures is processed on your device and is not sent to us. You can turn any permission off in your device settings; only the feature that needs it stops working.
Internet content
Some apps load content over the internet, such as map imagery, fonts, or public data. Like any internet request, these requests include your device's IP address so the content can be delivered. We do not receive, log, or store that information; the providers handle it under their own privacy policies.
Purchases
Optional purchases and subscriptions are processed by the app store you installed the app from. Payment details are handled by that store under its own privacy policy. Our apps never see or store your payment information; they only remember, on your device, which items you own.
Optional links
An app may contain optional links, such as sharing the app, leaving a review, supporting the studio, or opening this policy, that open your web browser or another app. Following them is entirely optional, and those destinations have their own privacy policies.
Data deletion
Uninstalling an app permanently deletes all of its data from your device. Because nothing is stored on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete.
Children
Our apps do not collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new effective date.
