Privacy Policy — Bayou Water Break

Bayou Water Break does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device.
What the app stores
Your hydration goal, reminder times, quiet hours, daily water history and streaks, your chosen voice, scene, ambient sound, units and volume preferences, and which optional premium packs you have unlocked. This is saved only on your device, in the app's private storage. It never leaves your phone unless you choose to copy a backup yourself. We cannot see it, and neither can anyone else.
What the app does NOT do
- No accounts or sign-in
- No analytics or tracking
- No advertising
- No transmission of your data to us or anyone else — the app works fully offline
- No access to contacts, location, camera, microphone, or files
Backup & restore
The app can copy a plain-text backup of your settings and history to your device's clipboard, and restore from it, entirely at your request. That data goes only where you paste it. We never receive it.
Purchases
Optional premium packs are one-time purchases processed by Google Play. All payment details are handled by Google under its own privacy policy — the app never sees or stores your payment information. The app only remembers, on your device, which packs you own.
Permissions the app requests, and why
- Notifications — to show your gentle water-break reminders. You can turn reminders off at any time in Settings.
Optional external links
Settings contains optional links — "Buy Me a Coffee," "Share App," "Leave a Review," and this policy — that open your web browser or another app. Following them is entirely optional, and those destinations have their own privacy policies.
Data deletion
Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all of its data. You can also clear everything at any time with Settings › Reset.
Children
The app does not collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new effective date.
