Privacy Policy — Bayou Dreams

Bayou Dreams does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Everything stays on your device.
What the app stores
Your sound mix (which channels are on and their volumes), your saved mixes, sleep-timer preferences, and whether you have unlocked Premium. This is saved only on your device, in the app's private storage. It never leaves your phone. We cannot see it, and neither can anyone else.
What the app does NOT do
- No accounts or sign-in
- No analytics or tracking
- No advertising
- No transmission of your data to us or anyone else — the app works fully offline
- No access to contacts, location, camera, microphone, or files
Purchases
Optional Premium purchases are processed by Google Play. All payment details are handled by Google under its own privacy policy — the app never sees or stores your payment information. The app only remembers, on your device, that Premium is unlocked.
Permissions the app requests, and why
- Notifications — to show a small "your mix is playing" notification while sound plays with the screen off, with a Stop button. Declining it doesn't affect playback.
Background playback
While your mix is playing, the app keeps a playback service running so the sound continues with the screen locked. This service plays your chosen audio and does nothing else — no listening, no recording, no data collection.
Data deletion
Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all of its data.
Children
The app does not collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new effective date.
