Privacy Policy — Bayou Claw
Effective date: August 16, 2026
Bayou Claw does not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or any other personal information. Your progress and settings stay on your device. The one exception, described below, is a device identifier that the game's purchasing system sends to its service provider to make in-app purchases work reliably.
What the app stores
Your coin balance, prize collection, machine-scene unlocks, and settings. This is saved only on your device, in the app's private storage. It never leaves your phone. We cannot see it, and neither can anyone else.
What the app does NOT do
- No accounts or sign-in
- No advertising, and no advertising ID is used
- No tracking of what you do in the game — no gameplay analytics, no behavioral profiles
- Your progress and settings are never transmitted anywhere — gameplay works fully offline; a connection is used only by your app store and Unity's purchase service when you make a purchase
- No access to contacts, location, camera, microphone, or files
Permissions
Bayou Claw requests no special permissions. Vibration for game feedback uses the standard system haptics and can be turned off in Settings.
In-app purchases
Bayou Claw offers optional coin packs and a one-time daily-limit upgrade purchased through your device's app store (Google Play or the Apple App Store). All payment processing is handled entirely by your app store; the app never sees or stores your payment details. Coins are virtual game currency with no real-world value and cannot be cashed out.
Device identifiers
The game is built with Unity, and its purchasing system is powered by Unity Gaming Services. To validate purchases and prevent fraud, Unity's service receives a device identifier (a random ID that identifies your device, not you) along with basic diagnostic information. This is the only data the game transmits off your device. It is sent encrypted, it is not used for advertising, and it is not sold. Unity's handling of this data is covered by the Unity Privacy Policy.
Optional external link
The Settings page contains a "Buy Me a Coffee" link that opens your web browser. Following it is entirely optional, and that website has its own privacy policy.
Data deletion
Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all of its data. The device identifier held by Unity's purchase service is managed under the Unity Privacy Policy.
Children
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app is directed at a general audience.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new effective date.
